Blue Spring, in Shannon County, MO is fifth largest in the Big Springs Country. According to local legend, the Indians called this the Spring of the Summer Sky, and it is generally considered the deepest blue of all the large springs in the state. It has had a measured daily flow of 138,000,000 gallons.
