S.S. Delta Queen
Standard Size Chrome Postcard in Very Good, Unused Condition. This post card was published by J.M. C. Photo Service of Anna, Illinois and manufactured by the H.S. Crocker Co., Inc. Post card shows the grand riverboat the Delta Queen which is scheduled to end its long excursion history in November of 2008.
Back of Card:Sternwheeler on the riverfront was a very common sight in the 1800's when tons of merchandise moved on inland waters via steamboat. The S.S. Delta Queen makes many stops along the banks of the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers for various tours.
