Death Valley
California
Mid Century Linen postcard in very good, unused Condition. this post card was manufactured by Longshaw Card Co., of Los Angeles, California.
Back of Card:
Death Valley boasts of the greatest contrasts in the country. Elevations from 280 feet below sea level to 11,045 feet above, flaming desert to towering mountains. Its history is as fascinating as its weird and colorful scenery. Here may be traced practically all divisions of geological time and pre-historical wild life, also the route of the Jayhawkers, the party which became lost while seeking a short cut to the gold fields of California, and thereby gave Death Valley its name.
