In this group of buildings of unusual historic interest, we see first, Hotel Utah a magnificent hostelry of 500 rooms. Immediately east is a beautiful edifice of Greek architecture, which houses the general offices of the Mormon church. Next come Lion and Beehive Houses, Brigham Young's residences, now used for offices of auxiliary church organizations. On the extreme right is Eagle Gate, once the entrance to Brigham Young's private estate.
