This beautiful free swimming pool is fed by Commanche Spring, with a daily flow of 35,000,000 gallons the year round. Its temperature never changes, remaining at 72 degrees. The water of this, and other nearby springs is useful also for irrigation of 6,000 fertile acres near Fort Stockton. In addition to the free swimming, free golf also is available in adjacent James Rooney Park.
