A Formal Picnic Gathering
Real Photo Post Card in Very Good, Unused Condition.
At first glance this may look like a typical gathering but upon closer inspection one can see just how formal life was back in the early 1900's.
Bicycles are lined up behind the well dressed gathering enjoing their drinks in china cups. A cloth tablecloth provides the background for the tea service which includes cookies on a glass pedestal, a vase with flowers and a pitcher for their liquid refreshments. Ah, those were the days!
