This building covers the entire block bounded by Adams, South La Salle and Quincy Streets and South Fifth Ave., being 323 feet long, 166 feet wide and 260 feet high. It is 21 stories in height and of the most modern fireproof construction. The basement contains the largest safety deposit vault in Chicago, weighing about six hundred tons and having a capacity for 20,000 boxes.
