The A & P Carnival
The Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company has created an area at the World's Fair for pleasure, without admission charge. There is a big open air marine park, with an amphitheater seating several thousand, surrounding a revolving stage where daily programs are given. Tony Sarg's famous marionettes, Harry Horlick and his Gypsy orrchestra and Gypsy dancing, are features. With George Rector presiding as master of ceremonies it is a real carnival.
